| Intermediate Skills (Hunter, Slayer, Farming, Woodcutting, Thieving) The next batch are more time consuming than actually being difficult.
Hunter
1. To get a butterfly net click on one of the boxes at hunter 2. Tele to the hunter training area via Skill Teleport 2 (Advanced skilling). 3. You will see numerous type of implings flying around. Just keep catching them till you have 99 (remember to click the hunter icon to see what your level is) Impling levels Baby Impling - Level 1 - 4500 exp Young impling - level 17 - 10500 exp Gourmet impling - level 20 - 12000 exp Earth impling - level 34 - 15000 Eclectic impling - level 50 - 24000 exp Nature impling - level 58 - 30000 exp Magpie impling - level 65 - 37500 exp Essence impling - level 74 - 16000 Ninja impling - level 74 - 42000 exp Dragon impling - level 90 - 75000 exp (The dragon and ninja implings can be very annoying to catch at their minimum levels. I recommend leveling a bit firther before moving to them).
Slayer Slayer is potentially the most rewarding skill in the game. You obtain esp points for completing a task (the harder the task, the more points), and the points can be exchanged with the "Duradel" dude at the shops near the bank at home for fantastic weapons and armor. 1. Get to a comfortable combat level w/ decent equipment (80-126). 2. Talk to Duradel in the shops location at home to get a task. 3. Kill the monster assigned however many time and you will be automatically rewarded. Tip - you can see how many kills you have left by clicking on the slayer button in the stats tab. You will also notice that this trains fast, as monsters like black demons give almost 200k exp per kill. Common task monsters locations Lesser demons - Brimhaven dungeon (go north) Black demons - Taverly dungeon (all the way at the end) Rock crabs - Rock crab teleport Hill giants - Hill giant teleport Moss titan - Brimhaven dungeon (go north, then east) Fire titan - Brimhaven dungeon (go north, then east) Ghost - Taverly dungeon (just north past the invisible NPCs) Banshee - Slayer tower (last monsters on the first floor) Bloodveld - Slayer tower (second floor, past the wizards) Abyssal demon - Slayer tower (third floor, last monsters)
Farming Farming is a semi-easy skill that has a hard reputation because of Runescape. It is crucial that you keep all of your herbs; you WILL need them for herblore. 1. Go to the shops location at home and talk to "Bob". 2. Buy 70 of each type of seed, and keep them in order. (you will not need even a fraction of the seeds, but this is easier) 3. Bank them all except the guam seeds. (keep them in order) 4. Tele to the farming area via Skill teleport. 5. Use the seed on the tree patch and gather up the herbs (usually between 2-7 per seed). 6. Keep planting and gathering until you have a full inventory and then clean them all off. 7. Tele back home and bank them all, then repeat. Tip: I don't know the levels needed for each seed (except that torstels are at 85), but just do ONE set of each seed then move on to the next in your bank and you should be good. (that's why you keep them in order) Tip 2: Do about 5 more torstel runs after you get level 99 so that you can get enough for 99 herblore. Tip 3: Leveling starts to get very fast at snapdragons.
Woodcutting Ahhhh woodcutting... Runescape's favorite botted skill. You will need no such bots as this skill goes fairly quick at around level 60. 1. Get a hatchet from "Bob" at the shops location at home. 2. Tele to the woodcutting area via Skill teleport. 3. Cut the logs until level 99. (duh) Required Levels Normal logs - lvl 1 Oak logs - lvl 15 Maple logs - lvl 45 Yew logs - lvl 60 - go a little ways south past the other trees to find these Magic logs - lvl 75 - go way south to the sorcerors tower (just east of the rangers guild) to find these.
Thieving Thieving..... every private servers favorite autoclicker. Ask staff if autoclickers are allowed before doing it. You won't need one anyway as this skill goes pretty quick. 1. Find the gem stall just south of the shops location at home. 2. Click on the stall for a static 75k exp and roughly 150k cash. Simple as that (maybe should have gone in the easy section...). Tip: You should earn a cool 23m by the time you reach level 99. (THIS IS BEING CODED, BE PATIENT) | |
